The problem
Starting an online business is overwhelming. Aspiring entrepreneurs face a wall of generic advice, disconnected tools, and no clear path from "I have an idea" to "I have a business." Courses are passive, consultants are expensive, and most people get stuck in the planning phase. What was missing was an interactive, AI-powered guide that could adapt to each person's unique situation and walk them through the process step by step.

The approach
We built Build-a-Business, an AI agent interface powered by Claude that acts as a personalised business advisor. Users interact with the agent conversationally, and it guides them through structured phases: idea validation, market research, business model design, branding, MVP planning, and launch strategy.
At each phase, the agent generates tangible outputs: business model canvases, competitor analyses, action plans, and launch checklists. The experience feels like having a senior business consultant available 24/7, but at a fraction of the cost.
